fried rice

 
Skill Level (easy, medium, hard): medium

Name of Recipe: plain fried rice (?)

Serves: 4

Preparation/Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients you will need: 1 cup plain white rice, 1&3/4 cups water, onion optional

Directions: Fry onion. 
Add rice and fry. 
Add water, salt & pepper.
Bring to the boil.
Cover pot and lower heat. 
Cook for 20 minutes.
Let sit for additional 5 minutes.

You are not suppossed to open pot and stir (but I usually do anyway).
